The Author's Chair is the reflective component of our Writers' Workshop. A student shares an excerpt from their writing and together with the rest of the class, we think about ourselves as writers and learn from each other. In our class, our feedback for the author is framed through, "Point and Ponder". You may point out a part that called your attention and you may help the author ponder on a thought about a writing skill. Our author today shared a story about a cat who got lost and this generated a rich discussion and exchange of personal experiences. So many stories to be shared!
