Ms Montilla introduced Carol Dweck to the class in connection to our learning about the growth mindset. We watched a part of an animation that she narrated and then created our own to represent our thinking. Many in the class chose this learning experience as the best part of their week.

Quotations

BOPDs read quotations from famous people and shared what they thought they meant with each other. The common idea of the quotations was about making mistakes. The class connected this to our inquiry about the growth mindset and how our brains work. Each student shared their own idea about mistakes and its role in learning.
