Visual and Creative Mathematics

Playful Pets continued finding out about the beauty of Mathematics. It is a visual and creative concept that allows us to make sense of our world. One learning experience emphasized how we use visual pathways to solve problems. Students used a rectangular paper and recreated it into a smaller rectangle,a triangle and even a circle! Another learning experience focused on the creativity and uncertainty of Mathematics as seen in the Hailstone sequence - a theory that has yet to be solved. Mathematics is not only calculation, but also the constant pursuit of thinking deeply and creatively.
