We watched a video entitled, "Speed is not important" and spoke about how that affects
our learning. We noted that not only is it safe to take our time, it also allows us to grow. Students gave examples from reading books to solving problems in Mathematics. Applying this idea, we tried solving a problem that a friend shared about a teacher buying 100 pencils and markers. We created strategies to make sense of the word problem and then we visualized our thinking. We really tried our best to take our time and be precise about our solutions.
