Auggie helps Christopher with his math homework in one of the chapters of, "Auggie and Me". The class read this together and wrote down their thoughts. There were three big ideas that came out: "PDF", "Math" and "helping". BOPDs paired up to create a list of clue words that can be found in math word problems that helps a person determine the operation needed to be performed. After sharing their documents, students tried to solve a word problem about Ms Montilla's car rental during her vacation with family.
