Body Awareness




Your body is your gauge on your physical wellbeing. BOPDs have started a new routine wherein they take thirty to sixty seconds of being mindful about their bodies and then writing what they are noticing. Our aim is to be aware of what our body is telling us. This came up after we had interviewed a classmate who had just missed school due to sickness. We thought about the continuum between illness and wellness, and where we may place ourselves on a daily basis. We intend to do this routine together and then talk about our observations.
