Assessment and reflection

BOPDs answered a survey that required them to assess themselves on the aspects of reading that we have been learning. At the end of the survey, students reflected about their progress in reading and set goals.

Students worked in pairs  and took turns to reply to the survey. They also helped each other formulate their goal statement and explain the strategy that they will employ. Some pairs found that they needed to improve on the same aspects, and others found it helpful to work with a partner in composing a strategy.
