Emergency Skits

Emergency, emergency! we played a game of charades to share our understanding of what we need to do during emergencies. Each group received information about a specific emergency: notification and evacuation area and then had to plan and practice their skit. Individual groups then had to enact an emergency situation and the rest of the class had to describe what was happening to eventually name the depicted emergency.

In all the skits, it was shown that it is important to stay safe and calm during emergencies.

Emergency Rescue

We read a fun pop-up story about emergencies in our classroom. It led us to discuss the emergency procedures in ISM and also made us aware of staying calm. We practiced some of the procedures this week and we feel we are more prepared due to that. The important thing to remember is to stay calm.
