BOPDs have been thinking about their identity as readers. Ms Montilla and a student used a class routine called, "The BOPD Learning Show" wherein they pretended to be in a talk show about learning. For this episode, they modeled a conversation about reading identity. This student called herself a clue-finder because she checks the pictures of her book when there is a word that she can say, but does understand. The example above is from another student who thinks that he is a book-chooser!I'm a book-chooser because I can choose books that are interesting to me. pic.twitter.com/wUOhWzLsfE
