The Publishers Group

 We had a lesson about publishing during writers' workshop to clarify the meaning of this stage in the writing process. It is a time and opportunity to share one's writing to others and to do that, we seek to be understood. This means having gone through the process of editing beforehand and making sure the writing is perfect. A student suggested the idea of creating a group of students who could act as modern-day publishers, tasked to review pieces of writing and decide if it is ready to be shared. It was decided that the group would change every two weeks and that they would be responsible in producing our written work in print so that it may be shared with our audience.
