BOPDs talked about safety in school. Ms Montilla read different scenarios and students responded by using the sentence starters flashed on the board. Students understood the importance of being safe in school, but they acknowledged that there are instances that unsafe scenarios also happen. Situations may cause yes or no feelings and this helps us determine the safety in our relationships.We discussed questions and shared examples from our own experiences. To deepen their understanding, students collaborated with a partner to analyze a scenario on their own and write down their thoughts.
